Our Heavenly Joshua Magnified

While Moses was alive, he spoke of a greater Prophet than he that would come after him and speak to the people.  It would be this Prophet that they should hear (Deut. 18:15,18).  Now we would automatically think that Moses was speaking of Joshua. However the apostle Peter explained in Acts chapter 3 that Moses was actually prophesying of Jesus Christ.  In the Old Testament there are many types and shadows that point to Messiah Jesus, and none as clear as Joshua. Much of what the Old Testament Joshua did in the early days of Israel was a spiritual picture of what our Heavenly Joshua (Jesus) has done and is doing today for Spiritual Israel, who is His Church.

Christ Preaching His Kingdom

The world system has so many groups, politicians, social movements, and causes fighting one another and trying to set up how they believe our society should operate, think, and behave. In reality it is the world’s effort to have heaven on earth without bowing to the King of Heaven, Jesus Christ the Lord. This message reveals the clear and sovereign Kingship of the Son of God and gives us the right Kingdom perspective of what is going on in our world. It also highlights the great hope that the believer has in Christ their King and Savior. “Fear not, little flock, for it is your Father’s good pleasure to give you the Kingdom” (Luke12:32). Only the Son of God willingly stepped down from His throne in Heaven to live as we live, to go through struggles that we go through, and He did so without sin so as to save us from our sin and make us royalty in God’s Heavenly Kingdom (1 Peter 2:9). So I ask you to have an open mind and an open Bible and follow along and ask God to reveal Christ’s Kingdom to you. God Bless!
